Handcrafted in the picturesque South Armagh, this incense set is a tribute to the traditional Irish way of life.

The burner is made from the renowned Bangor Blue Slate, known for its durability and aesthetic appeal. Fitted with felt pads to protect your surfaces, it is as practical as it is elegant. The slate's natural properties complement the burning turf, enhancing the overall sensory experience.

This set includes 8 solid turf sods, specially made to burn slowly and evenly, filling your home with the rich, earthy aroma of peat. These sods are easy to ignite and produce a lasting smoulder, recreating the comforting scent of a traditional Irish turf fire.

Each incense burner and sod is produced with care, ensuring quality and authenticity. Bringing the essence of the Irish countryside right into your living space. The sods are approximately 1.5 inches long and the slate burner 3 inches by 1.5 inches

Shipping Policy

All orders are processed same day if placed before 3pm Dublin time (excluding weekends and holidays). You will receive a notification when your order has shipped. 

United States

We offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders to the USA. Most items, including the Irish Turf Candles and the Irish Candle Bundle are shipped directly from our warehouse in Indiana via tracked USPS 1-3 day services.

United Kingdom 

We offer FREE SHIPPING on orders over £50 to the United Kingdom. For orders under £50, all orders are sent via Tracked 48 Royal Mail at a flat rate price £4.50

Worldwide Shipping

We ship all products worldwide. Shipping charges vary by location and will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Tenfire is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@tenfire.co.uk with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

If you're not totally happy with your purchase, we have a 30 day return policy, which means you have 30 calendar days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.  If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can 3-5 working days for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Tips to help extend the life of your candle

We use 100% soy wax in our candles and melts because it comes from a renewable source, burns cleanly and makes, in our opinion, the best-looking candles.  Soy wax burns long and slow so you can enjoy the fragrance right to the very end.

There are a number of things you can do to make sure you are able to enjoy your candle right down to the last flicker…..

• when lighting the candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt right out to the edge

• allow the candle to burn for at least 2 hours on the first burn

• trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use

• place the candle on an even surface away from drafts, curtains, sunlight and heat

• burn for a maximum of 4 hours at a time

• extinguish with a candle snuffer if possible

• stop using when there is less 1/2 inch of wax – now it’s time to scrape out the remaining wax and repurpose your tin for whatever you want!!
